DigitalOcean credits

Can the $200 USD credit given at signup be used for anything we'll need for the hackathon? Do they cover the usage of the Gradient AI platform and the model tokens as well?

    The credits can be used towards any service on the platform but additional funding to your account may be required in order to use some features -- Meaning you’ll need to input billing information and deposit $50 to gain access to certain features

    - Is this your first DigitalOcean account?
    - Is this the first time you are signing up for DigitalOcean with that specific email address?
    - If both answers are No -> sign up with a new email address using the same redemption link in Devpost.
    - If the answer is yes to either -> please try again with a new email address and report back :)

    I signed up an account now, but there are no credits shown anywhere in the account page, the url https://mlh.link/digitalocean-signup shows a popup modal, clicking on the Get Started button leads to nothing specific about credits.

    You have to raise a support ticket, wait for a day and they will add the credits

    I also did not get the credits when I opened a new account. I opened a support ticket and they told me to talk to the Hackathon about the credits, not them. Who should I get in touch with?

    For any questions relating to MLH's DO credits, please refer to MLH Discord server.
    - They have an FAQ channel set up and participants can open up a support ticket specific to the DigitalOcean hackathon when they join.

    - The server guide (https://discord.com/channels/688852585071116289/@home) has instructions on how to open up a support ticket.

    Hi, I have a similar problem with credits.

    I tried to join discord channel after verifying my phone number etc, but cannot write or post anything even though I followed the rules. I submitted a ticket but cannot claim it. Maybe there's an email address wherer I can write?

    I have submitted and host my application in digital ocean droplet.
    The problem is cost of hosting after 30th March.
    I have received “Promotional Credit from ReferreeNew2209 60 day expiration” which will expire on March 30 2026
    Can you extend the expiration date of my current promo code? Or will you add some more credit after 30th March so that I can keep hosting?
